Meet the Founder

The most impactful story from my medical journey began during my time working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

On the surface, I was doing what I had trained for—caring for patients, managing complex mental health conditions, and supporting individuals through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. But behind the scenes, the reality was very different. The workload was relentless. The emotional toll was heavy. And the system I was working in often felt like it was pushing both providers and patients to their limits.

I started to notice something deeply concerning—not just in myself, but in my colleagues. Brilliant, compassionate clinicians were becoming exhausted, disengaged, and overwhelmed. Burnout wasn’t the exception—it was the norm. We were expected to show up every day, fully present for our patients, while navigating administrative burdens, documentation overload, and systemic inefficiencies that left little room for recovery.

As a psychiatric provider, I understood the signs of burnout clinically—but living it was something else entirely.

There were moments where I realized that if the caregivers themselves were not well, the system could not truly heal anyone. That realization became a turning point for me.

Instead of accepting burnout as part of the profession, I began asking a different question: What if we redesigned healthcare to support the well-being of the people delivering the care?

That question led to the creation of Dr. Ibeez Lux (DIL)—a platform focused on self-care, mental well-being, and empowerment for healthcare professionals. What started as a response to burnout evolved into a broader mission: to restore balance, dignity, and sustainability within the healthcare workforce.

But the journey didn’t stop there.

As I continued to examine the root causes of burnout, I realized that many of the pressures clinicians face are driven by broken systems—inefficient workflows, administrative overload, and delays that prevent providers from doing what they were trained to do. That insight led me deeper into innovation, ultimately expanding into health technology solutions like Credentia AI.

So for me, this journey is deeply personal.

It started with burnout—but it transformed into purpose.

Today, my work is about more than treating patients. It’s about transforming the systems that impact both patients and providers—so that healthcare can become not only effective, but sustainable and humane.
